Droitwich Spa Youth Festival

Droitwich Spa’s Youth Fest will take place in July in the town’s Lido Park.  The festival will feature a host of activities, including live music performed by local bands.

Andrew Grant are proud to be sponsoring Droitwich Spa’s Youth Fest which will take place on Saturday 8th July in the town’s Lido Park.

The event is being organised by Droitwich Spa Youth Council which has around 50 members from
the town’s high school and middle schools.

Youth Fest will feature a host of activities, including live music performed by local bands, musicians and singers, bouncy castles and outdoor activities.

Councillor Sital Harris, who helped launch the youth council and has been involved with it ever since, said: “There has been a lot of criticism of Droitwich in the past over the lack of things to do in the town for young people and the youth council is starting to change this.

“When we launched the youth council, this was the kind of event we wanted it to organise – it’s all about involving the young people in the Droitwich community.

“They are the future of the town and will play an important role in it.

“I’m absolutely delighted that this is happening and we are hoping everyone will come out and support it.”

She said if it was successful, the Youth Festival could become an annual event, there were also a host of other activities in the pipeline.
