Andrew Grant Formally Opens St John's Branch

Andrew Grant formally opened the new St John’s branch on Friday 18th September.
The first office was opened in 1971, on April Fool’s Day, and the St John’s office became number 13, which we thought might be a little unlucky, so we’ve since had to open 3 more Branches, including Stratford and Henley-in-Arden, recently acquired from C P Bigwoods.
From 1 ground floor office in Pierpoint Street in Worcester, the ‘empire’ has expanded to cover the whole of Worcestershire, Herefordshire, South Shropshire (with the opening of Ludlow last year), and now Warwickshire, with Solihull also well established.
The property market has, as expected, improved greatly  following the general election and house prices are beginning to show signs of increasing, partly attributed to the shortage of property coming on the market.
Why St John’s?
Very often described as the ‘village within the city’, what better location on the west of the river than opposite the Church of St John in Bedwardine, parts of which date back to the 12th century.  St John’s became part of the City Of Worcester in 1837, and has certainly seen somewhat of a revival following the expansion of the University.
This office allows Andrew Grant to provide unrivalled Sales and lettings coverage to clients on both sides of the river, with prominent displays and plenty of brand exposure from this highly visible location together with Foregate Street which is helping to increase our market share.
We are also well placed to assist developers with the new builds that are taking place within WR2  in Lower Broadheath or Rushwick, and the other lovely villages on the Westside such as Hallow or Powick.
At Andrew Grant we try to encourage our staff to gain professional qualifications and have now expanded to employ over 100 staff with vast  experience  in Sales and Lettings/Property Management.
