Autumn In Hereford

There is so much going on in the wonderful county of Herefordshire.  We've picked just a few for the month of October.  So if you feel like singing, dancing, viewing arts and crafts or perusing antique stalls there could be something of interest.

Around 30 UK-based sculptors will be taking part in “Out of Nature” at Newport House, Herefordshire.  Set amidst the stunning Autumn backdrop the rural show aims to raise funds and awareness for The Cart Shed, a charity that supports the health and well-being of vulnerable and disadvantage people in a safe and supported environment.  It is the first provider of rural skills therapy in the West Midlands.

A night of original 1980s vinyl played on original disco decks to raise money for Breast Cancer Haven is being held at The Left Bank, Hereford.  Prepare to feel nostalgic and dance the night away to some dance floor classics.  Fancy dress, maybe the chance to dust off those leg warmers, is optional but recommended!

Last year around 300 people popped to this “little craft fair” in the village of Eardisland.  It’s held in the church and two marquees in the grounds.  There will be over 40 stalls showcasing a range of crafts.  Cooked breakfast will be available in the nearby village hall, with hot drinks and cake throughout the day or barbecued food in the church grounds from 12pm.

Date:  21st October 2017

Time:   10am to 4.30pm

Location: The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Church Lane, Eardisland, Leominster, HR6 9BP

Finally as we head to all things Halloween there’s going to be a spooky sing along in Ledbury.  There are no auditions and you won’t be required to sing a solo.  Just turn up and spend a fun afternoon learning a medley of songs from musicals associated with Halloween.  It’s being hosted by Big Sing, a group who get people together to, you’ve guessed it, sing!

Date:  29th October 2017

Time: 12.15pm to 6pm

Location:  The Market Theatre, Market Street, Ledbury, HR8 2AQ
