Refine News

As we pass the Winter Solstice, we look back and see that it wasn’t a bad a year really...

Andrew Grant have sold residential property to the value of over £ 1/3 billion and achieved on average 96% of the asking price. The sector which showed the biggest movement was over £500,000, where we sold nearly double the number from 12 months ago.

The buoyant market has also allowed us to expand, and our Ludlow Office opened in March. We also took over the Residential Lettings business of David Tyrrell and wish him well in his retirement.
 What’s in store for 2015?
The General Election in May will be a distraction, but let’s hope that the property market, a key part of the British economy, will continue to improve. The new Stamp Duty rates will help the market below £900,000, and the continuing low interest rates should also help. In all honesty, these rates cannot possibly stay as low as they are for very much longer, so the message for perhaps the wrong time of year (!) has to be to make hay whilst the sun shines!
