Santa Claws is Coming to Town!

Father Christmas is going to be busy in the Wyre Forest this festive season! He’s making appearances all over the area, we hope not at the same time, but do understand it is a very busy time of year!

The Severn Valley Railway’s Santa Steam Specials will be running from Kidderminster to Arley where you can meet Father Christmas in his grotto. Booking is essential. For further details click here

West Midlands Safari Park are hosting Santa Safaris. A magical festive day out for all the family combining a 4 mile self-drive Safari and a visit to Santa to make a truly memorable experience. For further details click here

In Stourport-on-Severn the Three Kings Parade starts from Civic Centre at 6pm on Friday 24th November. Santa will be on his sleigh and the Christmas lights will be switched on by the mayor. There will be carol services led by local churches after the parade followed by a Grand Firework Display.

On Saturday 2nd December the Christmas switch on lights Bewdley as the town hosts its Victorian Christmas 2017 and Father Christmas will be on his sleigh! BBC Hereford and Worcester are hosting the entertainment and there’s a free park and ride from Bewdley High School.

You can meet him on Saturday 9th December at Kidderminster Town Hall where he’ll be in the Mayor’s Parlour. For an audience with Santa you will need to book. For more information please email or call 01562 861429.

Bewdley Museum have their Christmas Grotto Weekend on 16th and 17th December where they’ll be unique Christmas gifts, live music, refreshments and another chance to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift.

Lastly, if Father Christmas is too busy and you need any help repairing broken, damaged or torn household or personal items why not take them along to The Repair Café in Bewdley on Saturday 16th December. It’s a friendly and relaxing meeting place where you can get advice on repairs or sharpening free of charge. Donations are requested to cover the cost of keeping the service going. All types of items can be looked at including electrical appliances, electronic gadgets, furniture, toys, fabrics and ceramics. It’s hosted in the Hall Café at St George's Hall, Load Street, Bewdley, Worcs, DY12 2EQ.
