Solihull Schools' Success Attracts Buyers To The Area

High-ranking secondary schools which soar above national league table averages continue to be a draw to the area and see many of our central Solihull and Knowle and Dorridge properties enjoying a price premium as prime catchment areas.

Two top-ranking independent schools, access to grammar school places in the surrounding area and a number of high-achieving state secondary schools combine to make Solihull a natural choice for parents. Department for Education data issues earlier this year shows that five of the area’s secondary schools enjoy Key Stage 4 results of over 80% success for grades A*-C in core subjects, in some cases 95% and above, against a national average of just under 56%. 

Buyers who have done their own homework frequently specify key postcodes for their property search, with vendors in those areas reaping the benefits with faster sales and higher asking prices. Primary school spots are similarly sought after, with every one of Solihull’s schools achieving Key Stage 2 results beyond the national average, making Solihull an educated choice across all ages.
