Bromsgrove is a traditional market town which still hosts a street market (dating back to the 1200’s) three times a week, but with plenty of 21st century facilities, including a David Lloyd gym, the Artrix theatre, a golf course, sailing club, attractive new builds, and great motorway connections.

A hive of entrepreneurial activity, residents are said to enjoy the highest average earnings in the West Midlands and in 2017 Bromsgrove saw the biggest increase in business start-ups in the country.

Bromsgrove Railway Station provides excellent links to Birmingham New Street and Worcester Foregate Street. There's also a central bus station which provides transport to the wider area of Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

There are many sought after nearby villages such as Alvechurch, Barnt Green, Burcot, Blackwell, Lickey End and Stoke Prior.

Bromsgrove is a pretty market town with modern facilities and 70 parks and gardens.

Avoncroft Museum is spread over 19 acres of beautiful Worcestershire countryside and cares for over twenty five historic buildings that range in date from Worcester Cathedral’s fourteenth century Guesten Hall roof to a post second world war prefab from Birmingham, covering over 700 years of Midlands history.

Bromsgrove is also famous for the Bromsgrove Guild, a company of craftsmen whose work included the gates of Buckingham Palace.

Home to LG Harris Ltd the famous manufacturer of paint brushes.

Notable residents of Bromsgrove have included the poet Alfred Edward Housman, whose statue can be seen in the town’s High Street, and George Cadbury, the founder of Cadbury’s.

There are many great places to eat out, including waterside dining at The Queens Head, tapas at Casa Med, and traditional carvery at The Nailers Arms.

Good schools, including state high schools North and South Bromsgrove, specialising in media and the creative arts, and foreign languages and IT respectively. The Bromsgrove School is a renowned private school with ex-pupils including former CBI head Digby Jones and actor Trevor Eve.
