Everything you need to know about Kidderminster

About the area

The town made its pile from carpet making – in the 1950’s there were over thirty manufacturers in the town. There’s now a museum showing the industry’s history as well as some beautiful design examples.

Home to the famous Kidderminster Harriers FC - we are proud sponsors of the Women's First Team for the 2018/19 season.

The beautiful Victorian town hall has echoed to the sound of speeches from some of history’s most recognisable figures, including Stanley Baldwin – although now the venue for visiting bands and concerts.

Steam trains still run along the Severn Valley Railway making an enchanting sight (and sound) and the town has a railway museum.

Why I think you'll love this location

If you're renovating a property come and talk to me and I'll put the kettle on – I've been working on mine for the last 25 years and know the Farrow and Ball paint chart off by heart! I'm also a keen cook, my hero is Tom Kerridge – and love long walks provided there's a pub at the end, a welcome for my mini schnauzer Bertie, and plenty of gin! I'm very proud to be at the heart of a friendly but incredibly professional and successful team in what we see as a town with a real sense of community.
