Our Principal, Andrew Grant, was therefore delighted to chair the Worcester forum presenting the local winners of this year’s Queens Award for Enterprise, and encouraging others to apply for next years’ awards.

The Queens Award is the highest official award available to UK businesses, and go to those which achieve excellence in international trade, innovation and sustainable development.

Worcester businesses have enjoyed impressive success through the programme, gaining twelve awards in the last three years alone. It confirms what we see every day in our clients and the partners with whom we work – that Worcester is a creative, dynamic county with forward-looking business and an appetite for innovation.

This year’s winners, Thorlux Lighting, JMDA, and Seada Technology, were congratulated by the Queens’ Lord-Lieutenant, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft, local dignitary Lord Digby Jones, and the chief executive of Worcester County Council. Future candidates were encouraged by the leaders of local companies such as cordless technology giant Gtech, themselves past winners of the award.
