The Big Worcester Sleepout

Fri, Mar 08, 2019

We are privileged to sell some of the UK’s most beautiful homes, but we are always aware that there are many people who, for all sorts of reasons, aren’t lucky enough to have a roof over their head.

That’s why we’re taking part in the Worcester Big Sleepout on Thursday 4th April at the Warriors Rugby Stadium where 100 people will sleep outside overnight to raise funds for three charities dedicated to supporting the homeless; Maggs Day Centre, St Pauls Hostel, and the Worcester Warriors Community Foundation.

Five of our staff members, including Managing Partner Kristian Stott, have already signed up for the chilly sleepover with clients and other staff members pledging donations. If you’d like to support us too, please click HERE

“Homelessness is one of society’s great challenges, which in a modern world seems so unnecessary and yet so complex, therefore hard to solve,” says Kristian. “In Worcester we have three incredible charities working hard to minimise these issues and find ways of changing people's lives long term.

“The team at Andrew Grant are really looking forward to the event and hope that it not only raises funds but also awareness of this desperate and saddening issue in our city and around the United Kingdom.”

Marketing Manager Caroline Hope added,

“I’m used to spending my evenings cosy on the settee with my dogs watching Netflix and know how fortunate I am to have that luxury, so I’m looking forward to the challenge of being outside my comfort zone in every way.”
