David Stuart-Smith retires after 25 years

One of the most inspirational figures in local property, David Stuart-Smith has retired as managing partner after over 25 years with Andrew Grant.

He has been succeeded by Kristian Stott, who started out with the company as a weekend viewing agent and since then has himself become a respected figure in the industry.

In an often much-maligned industry David was greatly admired by clients, staff and industry professionals as a traditional agent with a forward-thinking approach. Under his leadership and despite increasing online competition the Andrew Grant brand expanded to fifteen offices across the area including presence in London, with David’s core values of honesty, professionalism and a straightforward approach at the heart of each.

Educated at the King’s School, Worcester, David worked in property for over 50 years. In his free time he remains a keen runner, competing in the inaugural Snowdonia Marathon in 1982 and most recently in the London Marathon at the age of 70. He and his wife plan to enjoy his retirement travelling around in their motorhome.
